The Last Tsar is a cigar that pays homage to Emperor (Tsar) Nicholas II, who was the final monarch of Russia.

The tobacco leaf used as the wrapper for The Last Tsar is also used for the Caldwell Eastern Standard. The wrapper in The Last Tsar is processed differently and aged for a little longer. Caldwell said that Carbonell tobacco is a part of the blend, but the rest is not disclosed. 

You can feel notes of natural tobacco, pepper (mostly white, but some black), and tangerine-like citrus. 

Alec Bradley has been releasing their hugely popular Filthy Hooligan cigar line right before St. Patrick's Day every year since 2013.

Sam Paley was the founder of La Palina back in 1896. In order to honor the role of women in the cigar industry through the name of his wife, Goldie, the La Palina Goldie collection was introduced in 2012. This one of a kind cigar is blended with the renowned Medio Tiempo leaf, which is found in just 10% of tobacco plants. The filler comes from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic, and the wrapper is Ecuadorian Habano. All in all, the smoke is peppery and nutty with a finish of wood, cocoa, and walnut.
