Joya de Nicaragua Numero Uno L-Attache
Measuring just 4½″ in length, with a slim 42 ring-gauge, this petit corona, L'Attaché version of the Joya de Nicaragua Número Uno is the perfect vitola for those seeking a brief morning smoke to go with their first caffeine rush of the day. Elegantly wrapped and finished with a flagged pigtail cap, this blend was originally crafted as a welcome gift for diplomats visiting Nicaragua.
Featuring a nut brown colored Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper and filled with deeply aged Nicaraguan tobaccos, this small cigar delivers a refined profile of cream, cedar, toasted almonds, and warm breakfast pastry baking spices. Aromas are accented by delicate floral notes and a hint of sweetness upon the finish. Medium-bodied in character and sophisticated in both style and complexity, this is one of the more unique interpretations of what premium Connecticut Shade cigar smoking can offer when done right.
Joya de Nicaragua Joya Cabinetta
The Joya de Nicaragua Joya Cabinetta is a unique spin on what a two-tone blend can be. This distinctive medium-bodied smoke uses a satiny Ecuadorian Connecticut for much of the wrapper's real estate, but then applies a chestnut brown Nicaraguan criollo leaf from the band to the cap. This creates a totally different smoking experience depending upon where in the cigar you are, with the majority of the blend being filled with creamy notes of cedar, toasted almonds, and sweet spice, and the last portion being far more earthy, peppery, and leather-like.

Joya de Nicaragua Antaño CT
Finally, we get to the Connecticut Shade flagship in the lineup: The Joya de Nicaragua Antaño CT. This mellower remix of the legendary Antaño line delivers exceptional balance and complexity in every draw, with one of the cleanest finishes we have ever encountered in a premium cigar. Wrapped in a powdery Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, traditional tasting notes of cedar, toasted tree nuts, and sweet cream are all up front, with hints of white pepper and citrus sitting on the retrohale.
But don't let that light-colored wrapper trick you into thinking this is just another mild cigar. Joya de Nicaragua loads this blend up with a medium-bodied mixture of long-filler leaves that are far richer and darker than one might expect. Chewy, milky, coffee-centric, and coated in notes of caramel and classic baking spices, this is one of those unassuming cigars that hits all the top notes.
