In order to create a new Macanudo line that featured tobacco aged in French oak barrels that previously held a single vineyard cabernet sauvignon, General Cigar Co. collaborated with Flint Knoll, a small winery in Napa, California.

While the wrapper is an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade varietal with a honey-hued color, this isn't a mild smoke by any means, for the filler tobaccos are dark and potent. Mata Fina from Brazil, Piloto Cubano and Olor from the Dominican Republic, as well as some Nicaraguan Jalapa leaf are all bound inside by a Connecticut Broadleaf binder. It is this leaf that rested inside those French oak barrels from Flint Knoll, resulting in a toasted tannin crispness, and a unique olfactory experience you have to smoke to believe.

Nomos is the inaugural cigar from a company out of the Northeast. It is a blend of Dominican filler surrounded by a flavorful Criollo binder and finished with a beautiful habano leaf wrapper. 

It highlights a medium bodied experience and utilizes a unique aging process that all Nomos cigars undergo called the Nomos Aging Process (NAP). NAP was developed out of sheer motivation to have a cigar with a clean after-taste, rich aroma and a flavor that is consistent down to the nub.

To construct Fellow Craft Hiram & Solomon utilized a variety of Nicaraguan-grown long fillers, including Habano grown in the Jalapa region, Habano tobacco from the Ometepe island, and Ligero Habano out of Estelí. Together, these leaves produce a complex profile that is further accentuated by an Indonesian-grown Sumatran binder. 

The Nicaraguan Habano Oscuro wrapper, however, might as well have been made of pure milk chocolate. Through strong scents of leather, cedar, and dried fruits, you will find rich black pepper overtones and an earthy finish, with an end result that is medium-to-full bodied and extremely smooth.

Weltschmerz is the German word for "a feeling of melancholy and world-weariness." This cigar is meant for the darkest moments of life. The brand uses fillers from Estelí and Jalapa areas of Nicaragua, a binder from Jalapa too, and an Ecuadorian habano oscuro wrapper.
