To help impart a silky smooth finish, the wrapper on this stick is fermented under intense heat for 90 days until it releases its full potential. The result is a rich, dark wrapper that burns evenly with a razor-thin carbon ring. This uniquely forged wrapper dresses an Ecuadorian binder and a Nicaraguan/Dominican blend that forms an opulent mouthfeel and finish.

A Maduro lovers dream, this fine cigar is a re-launch of the Murcielago of 2009 made by the My Father brand, that was a huge success. The blend for this cigar was lost when Espinosa split off, and it has taken some time to bring the blend back to its former glory. Enjoy notes of cocoa and sweet spices with this awesome re-release.

Tasting Notes:

Hand-rolled in Honduras, the Gran Habano No. 3 Habano is a medium-strength cigar. It has a Nicaraguan Habano maduro wrapper, Nicaraguan Habano fillers, and Nicaraguan Habano binder. A well-balanced cigar with hints of cedar, spice, and coffee, the Gran Habano No. 3 Habano is a great choice.

Tasting Notes:

This dark cigar is pleasantly complex, hitting notes of cocoa, pepper, roasted nuts, and cashews. The uncommon box-pressed oily cigar will surely be a fan favorite.

Starting in 2011, the Quesada family began to release a seasonal cigar blend that was intended to be paired with German Märzenbier, the beer that has for centuries been brewed for Oktoberfest. Issued in extremely small quantities, Quesada Oktoberfest is made by hand in the Dominican Republic and ages with the very best of them. And while the rich blend of select tobaccos that make this smoke have varied in the past, one thing has remained constant over the years: Quesada's ability to make you crave a stein of cold beer. 

For the 2023 release, the blend consisted of a Mexican San Andrés wrapper, a Dominican binder and all Dominican filler leaf. Which when aged, produce a doughy, rye-like breadiness and a distinct salinity that makes one think of traditional German soft pretzels. 

The Last Tsar is a cigar that pays homage to Emperor (Tsar) Nicholas II, who was the final monarch of Russia.

The tobacco leaf used as the wrapper for The Last Tsar is also used for the Caldwell Eastern Standard. The wrapper in The Last Tsar is processed differently and aged for a little longer. Caldwell said that Carbonell tobacco is a part of the blend, but the rest is not disclosed. 

You can feel notes of natural tobacco, pepper (mostly white, but some black), and tangerine-like citrus.

 This interesting belicoso shaped cigar is just that, interesting throughout. With notes of cocoa, nuts, and black coffee, this cigar is sure to please.
