All right, all you "yellow cello" cigar hunters, now's your chance to score some primo vintage tobacco leaf before it is gone forever. That's right, Klaro has secured a few boxes of the 2024 vintages of the Ferio Tego Elegancia and Generoso, and holy hell do they have some extra age placed upon them.
How much extra age, you ask? Well, how about an additional 22 months post-production, followed by another full year for even more exclusivity and refinement. Apparently, these two limited-run blends were rolled toward the end of 2023, but instead of releasing them to the public after a few months like most cigar makers, Ferio Tego decided to give the cigars almost a full two years of downtime in their aging room prior to hitting the market in August of 2025.
But unbeknownst to many, a certain amount of these heavily aged, wine-inspired cigars never hit the mainstream last year. Whether it was due to a distribution hiccup, a warehouse misplacement, or an intentional attempt to throw even more age on an already exclusive series, an undisclosed amount of this limited release was allowed to rest for an extra year.
So when we came across an offer to secure a few boxes of this vintage dynamic duo, we jumped at the opportunity. Not only because we are forever in search of providing our Klaro Crew with obscure, vintage, and limited release blends, but because we are fans of Ferio Tego's blends and approach to formulating well-balanced smoking experiences.

Ferio Tego Elegancia 2024
Relying upon a shade-grown Ecuadorian wrapper, a binder out of the Dominican Republic, and long-fillers pulled from the Dominican and Nicaragua, Elegancia is a light-colored cigar that is heavy in body. While strength may be on the milder side, flavors favor a more medium approach, with Ferio Tego marketing the cigar for having notes of cinnamon, crisp toast, sweet cedar, creamy custard, macadamia nuts, and white burgundy.
Like numerous other blends within the boutique cigar company's collection, the 2024 Elegancia is produced by Quesada in the Dominican Republic.

Ferio Tego Generoso 2024
For fans of darker, oilier, stronger cigar smoke sessions, comes the Ferio Tego Generoso 2024. Relying upon a Honduran sun-grown wrapper, and loaded with all-Nicaraguan binder and filler leaves, this cigar is far more of an after-dinner blend than a mid-morning smoke. Spicier and significantly stronger than the Elegancia, this darker blend focuses upon tastes of allspice, barrel-aged porter, mocha latte, toffee, Turkish coffee, and grilled wagyu beef.
To make this potent blend a reality, Ferio Tego turned to Plasencia Cigars and its Nicaraguan operations for production and tobacco sourcing.
