This 91 rated cigar was described as bright and creamy... zesty with touches of lemon peel and dried orange. It's also sweet, with a very prominent note of honey on the palate. From Drew State it's wonderfully crafted with Dominican fillers and finished with a lighter Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper.

Sitting on the patio today, trying out a Liga Undercrown Shade Connecticut. This cigar boasts tasting notes of honey, lemon, orange peel and spice. Sounds about like the most delicious cigar on the planet but in turn promises some very high expectations. Let's see if it delivers. Buy 5 Pack Pre-lit Pre-lit this thing is nothing special. Looks beautiful but from a smell standpoint, I didn't get much outside of the Connecticut wrapper. Let's go further to see if it delivers. 1st Third Outside of the bad light job from running out of butane, after about the first 3 or 4 minutes...
The cigars were advertised as having a lemon zest, orange peel, honey hint of flavor with notes of pepper. All I got was pepper. If you like bold pepper flavors you will love this cigar.
United StatesIt took a while to start getting flavor. My flavor experience different than others with tasting notes. I tasted cocoa/chocolate, nuttiness, cedar, a bit of creaminess/breadiness. Very nice. On the bad side was the wrapper split at about 1/2 the stick. Once the burn hit it it started burning uneven. Needed touch ups and 2 relights. The draw was a bit tough at first, then was nice. When it was burning well a decent amount of smoke. I liked it and would have again. Compared to a similar cigar (20 Acre Farm) I liked the 20 Acre Farm better.
