Tasting Notes:

Aptly named because this tobacco comes from one lot of tobacco in Nicaragua ("Lot 23"). This cigar uses a Broadleaf Maduro wrapper.

This leaves a rich, almost chocolatey flavor that's smooth and gradual. Expect some creamy, nutty nuances as well.

From the industry giant Cohiba, this excellent cigar, known as a "red dot" because of the markings on the band, has a medium-bodied flavor and a robust, smooth, and extraordinarily rich profile. The blend used in Cohiba premium cigars is produced by hand with a toothy Cameroon wrapper and an aged combination of Piloto Cubano tobaccos from the Dominican Republic.

This is the first cigar that Esteban Carreras has made with a corojo wrapper, and apparently the varietal used in this blend was smuggled out of Cuba in the 1990s. Blackbird Superb Habano is the first cigar in the Blackbird company's core line that includes a habano wrapper covering an undisclosed binder and filler blend. This mysterious medium to full-bodied bird has an overall sweetness profile with distinct notes of spice, coffee, and cedar.
