The 1502 XO is a highly sought-after, limited-edition cigar from Global Premium Cigars that is expertly handcrafted at Nicaragua’s renowned Plasencia factory. Featuring a soft box-pressing and a patented "Cigar Lock" on each foot, this premium cigar looks just as spectacular as the smoke that it emits.
Flavor-wise, this blend shines as a medium-bodied, full-powered, expertly crafted cigar that delivers a dynamic, ever-evolving journey each time. From spicy and fruity beginnings, to smooth cedar, chewy chocolate, and a creamy finish, with a refined balance between strength and depth in between, this one is unlike anything else out there. The use of 18-year-aged tobaccos, meticulous construction by Plasencia, and an annual limited-run packaging (each cigar and box gets numbered) make this a must-have for hardcore cigar collectors

The GPC 1502 Black Gold is a celebration of patience and craftsmanship. Featuring the same iconic blend as the original GPC 1502, what makes this cigar truly special is time. Originally rolled in January 2013, these cigars have been resting for over a decade, on top of the fact that GPC’s premium tobaccos are already aged for several years before they’re even rolled. The result is an exceptionally vintage expression that few cigars can rival.
Flavor-wise, Black Gold delivers a refined, full-bodied experience with beautifully integrated notes of dark chocolate, espresso, cedar, earth, and warm spice, layered with hints of toasted nuts, molasses, and black pepper. Smooth, complex, and deeply satisfying, this is a cigar meant to be savored slowly — a true testament to what extended aging can achieve.

The 1502 Nicaragua is the latest creation from GPC, and contains tobaccos from the four main growing regions of Nicaragua: Esteli, Jalapa, Condega, and Ometepe. This cigar fits right in between the 1502 Emerald and 1502 Ruby, as a "medium plus” cigar, and features notes of sugary sweetness and vanilla aromatics. In fact, it is the aroma of this 100% Nicaraguan blend that helps define its velvety smooth smoke, with floral touches, chamomile tea undertones, and a milky nuttiness backing it all up.

To create the smooth, distinctive flavor profile of the 1502 Emerald, heavily aged tobacco leaves had to be meticulously chosen. What resulted was a cigar with a delicious, light-tan wrapper made from Nicaraguan Corojo Habano seed tobacco layered atop a Nicaraguan binder and long-filler leaves from Mexico and Nicaragua. Milder-bodied, but far heavier in flavor, one can expect fruity notes and a soothing vanilla scent accompany the palate-pleasing sweetness. As with all of Global Premium Cigars' 1502 line, the Emerald is crafted by Plasencia Cigars down in Nicaragua.

That Colorado Rosado-colored wrapper you see slapped on the outside of this medium-strength stick is actually an Ecuador-grown habano leaf from the Oliva family. The blend also includes one ligero leaf inside for added kick, and is comprised primarily of viso leaves instead of milder seco for a more vibrant cigar flavor profile.
The result is a superbly made premium cigar blend that is both aesthetically stunning and tasty. With its earthy, woody, and nutty flavors, the 1502 Ruby is a treasure once lit. It is also an outstanding burner, which is no surprise being that Plasencia handles all production of the 1502 line for Global Premium Cigars down in Nicaragua.

While Blackbird's official 10th Anniversary blend has yet to hit the humidor, a prelude celebration smoke has arrived, and it has quite the mouthful of a name: Pura Raza de Quisqueya Prensado.
Translated directly to English, pura raza means "purebred," while Quisqueya is the name of a town in the San Pedro de Macorís province that is shared by the Dominican Republic and Haiti. Further translation of the old dialect spoken by the indigenous people of that area reveals that the word Quisqueya means "mother of the earth," or "large land." Nowadays, the term is commonly used as a patriotic word for the Dominican Republic and its cultural heritage, despite also sharing Haitian heritage.
The cigar is a 6″ x 52 box-pressed toro featuring, you guessed it, a purebred stallion on the band. While it may be strange to see a Blackbird blend without some sort of avian species' name scrawled across its brightly colored cigar band, this classy, old-world approach looks right at home on this smoke. The reason why that band (and its stunner of a dressing box) looks so at home is because this cigar features a top-grade Ecuadorian Connecticut-shade wrapper that is of the finest quality.
Artfully crafted at the company's Dominican factory with an undisclosed binder and filler mixture, this rarity is only being rolled to the tune of 500 boxes, with just 10 cigars being encased in each box. Furthermore, this cigar is intended to serve as tribute to Blackbird’s master blender, Papo “El Caballo.” That being said, it has been announced that going forward, this smoke will become a limited annual run, with our Klaro Members receiving the very first round ever released to the U.S. market.

If you dare to take a swing at speaking a little German, try the word Rauchvergnügen on for size. Umlaut and all, this elongated word literally translates to "smoking pleasure," and is synonymous with the joy one takes in the act.
However, since much of the world cannot spell or pronounce this word, GEC has abbreviated this blend to RVGN to make it easy on the rest of us. The blend, relies upon an Ecuadorian-grown hybrid wrapper, which covers a Dominican criollo '98 binder, as well as a combo of Dominican, Nicaraguan and Pennsylvania long-fillers.
The result is a soft little short smoke with cold draws that reveal fresh hay, green fields, and a touch of mint. Once lit, aromas of cedar wood, alpine herbs, more mint, and moist forest reinforced with notes of peat, coffee, ginger, and Szechuan pepper can all be detected.

Gurkha took the already elegant Cellar Reserve, and made it even better by upgrading the wrapper to a Brazilian Arapiraca varietal, before tying a bow on top via a pigtail cap. This extravagant smoke shows its complexity through notes of cocoa, spice and deep leather, with the 15-year aged long-filler inside smoothing it all out.

Tasting Notes:
This hefty cigar is enveloped in an oily Nicaraguan Rosado wrapper, and uses Nicaraguan tobaccos throughout, making this a Nicaraguan puro cigar. The wrapper lends this cigar some spice, while the binder and filler round out the cigar with notes of earth, leather and wood.
