Tasting Notes:

As the first Cameroon wrapped cigar that AJ Fernandez has produced, this medium smoke definitely does not disappoint. Brimming with notes of sweet tobacco, nuts, and spices, this 90+ rated blend is artfully done in every way.

Bold cinnamon and cocoa flavors take center stage in this stick, and lingering notes of wood move their way throughout in the background as the cigar wraps up the flavor profile with a citrusy touch in the finish.

Crafted by JRE Tobacco Co., this limited-edition 4½ x 60 cigar delivers a slow-burning, medium-bodied smoking experience that highlights the smooth and richly textured qualities of Cameroon wrapper. The tobacco used to make this limited-edition cigar has been meticulously aged for up to six years, and it features all Honduran leaf grown on the Eiroa family farm, including the skillfully wrapped, silky red Cameroon seed wrapper. Both experienced and inexperienced smokers alike will enjoy this cigar's elegant milky nuttiness and sweet honey and cedar undertones.

The Kristoff Cameroon Lancero is a refined expression of one of Kristoff’s most beloved blends, showcasing the elegance and complexity of aged African Cameroon tobacco. The cigar features a 7-year aged Cameroon wrapper over a Dominican Habano-seed binder with premium Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers, delivering a smooth yet flavorful medium-bodied smoking experience.

On the palate, the Cameroon Lancero opens with rich notes of cedar, cinnamon, toasted nuts, and baking spice, followed by layers of leather, cocoa, and a gentle natural sweetness that builds throughout the smoke. The thinner ring gauge intensifies the signature Cameroon character, creating a more focused and expressive profile compared to larger formats. Balanced, aromatic, and refined, this Lancero is an excellent choice for aficionados who appreciate nuance, elegance, and a slow-burning, flavor-forward cigar.

Long Live The Queen is a truly outstanding blend featuring a Cameroon wrapper out of Africa, and makes for a wild contrast to Long Live The King. This cigar is medium-full in flavor with a good amount of spice, while still remaining refined and balanced. Made in the Dominican Republic, Long Live the Queen is rolled at the El Maestro factory, a smaller factory owned by William Ventura. It’s a four-country blend consisting of a reddish-brown Cameroon cover leaf, a Sumatran binder grown in Indonesia and a mix of Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers.

The E.P. Carrillo Endure Robusto is a distinctive expression of Ernesto Perez-Carrillo’s dedication to exceptional tobacco and traditional craftsmanship. Measuring 5 x 50, this softly pressed Robusto is wrapped in a rare Meerapfel Cameroon leaf, grown by the Meerapfel family, which famously helped preserve Cameroon tobacco from extinction. Beneath the elegant wrapper is an entirely Nicaraguan binder and filler blend, expertly rolled at Casa Carrillo in the Dominican Republic. The result is a beautifully constructed cigar that combines a historic Cameroon wrapper with the richness and character of Nicaraguan tobacco.

Rated 89 points by Cigar Aficionado, the Endure Robusto offers a medium-strength smoking experience with an earthy, nutty character accented by notes of peanut and subtle overripe fruit. As the cigar progresses, hints of chocolate emerge on the chewy finish, adding another layer of richness to the profile. Its compact 5 x 50 format delivers a concentrated and flavorful smoke, making the Endure Robusto an excellent choice for smokers looking for a sophisticated Cameroon-wrapped cigar with plenty of character.

The Aladino Gorbusto Orang represents the most balanced expression in the Gorbusto lineup, offering a smooth, approachable interpretation of JRE Tobacco’s Honduran puro concept. Measuring 4.5 x 60, this compact, thick-ring vitola is designed to deliver a concentrated yet refined smoking experience. Handcrafted entirely from tobaccos grown on the JRE Tobacco Farm in Honduras and rolled at the Aladino factory in Danlí, the Orang showcases the natural sweetness and balance of Honduran leaf in a bold modern format.

Medium-bodied and exceptionally smooth, the Orang delivers a harmonious profile of cedar, cream, roasted nuts, light pepper, and natural tobacco sweetness. Compared to the bolder Gori and more contemplative Chimp, Orang sits in the middle as the most accessible and easygoing of the trio, offering balance without sacrificing flavor. The dense 60-ring gauge enhances smoke production while maintaining a creamy, consistent burn, making this cigar an excellent everyday premium choice with character and depth.

For the first time, a cigar with filler tobacco from three different African tobacco-growing regions has been made available in the United States: the CAO Arcana Thunder Smoke.  This is a great cigar for daring enthusiasts looking to broaden their smoking horizons.
