Ernesto Carrillo and Rick Rodriguez, two exceptional cigar blenders, worked together to create this unique mix: the West Tampa Circle of Life cigar.

The blend consists of an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder, an Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper, and a filler made of tobacco from the Jalapa, Condega, and Estelí regions of Nicaragua along with some Dominican Corojo 99.

Rodriguez, who was trained by Ernesto Perez-Carrillo during his time at General Cigar Co., has often cited him as one of his key mentors and teachers. This collaboration is a way to connect with his roots and lay another brick for the future of the brand.

The Caldwell Lost and Found "Just the Tip" cigar is made in the Dominican Republic at Tabacalera William Ventura factory. Rolled using a zesty Habano wrapper over a Sumatran binder and filled with a balanced mix of Dominican tobaccos, the result is a medium smoke with notes of oak, sun-grown leaf, cream, and graham cracker. 

The H. Upmann Banker is a recreation of a blend dating back to the 1800s in Cuba in 1844, and it definitely does justice to the original. Initial pre-light flavors range from anise to leather to chocolate, with the first third continuing the chocolate notes, while mixing in some black pepper and a multitude of tannin notes. The cigar continues with a distinct nuttiness, followed by coffee, and anise all the way until a sweet and savory finish.

Rare as can be, and featuring higher primings off the tobacco plant, as well as a fair deal more age, the 10th Anniversary version of Pepper Cream Soda by Caldwell Cigar Co. is one of those obscure stogies that collectors and boutique blend snobs seek out. 

Since the ingredients are the exact same as the regular version of Pepper Cream Soda, one can expect an oily, Ecuador-born arapiraca wrapper, a piloto binder, and then more of the same piloto strain inside, along with some Cuban-seed Havana Vuelta Abajo (HVA) and a pinch of habano.

Additional exposure to sunlight tends to not only make higher primings off a tobacco plant more intense, but more resinous and oily as well, so those looking for a more aromatic, deeper layered version of the normal blend need look no further.

Punch came up with a unique way to salute the dads of the world. Punch Dad's Home Movies is a limited-edition blend that comes in a 6" x 50 box-pressed vitola. Three of the best tobacco-growing locations in Nicaragua—Condega, Esteli, and Ometepe—are used to produce the filler leaves that are covered by the Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, while bold notes of cream, wood, and spice are highlighted by a warm nuttiness in this medium-to full-bodied cigar. To construct Fellow Craft Hiram & Solomon utilized a variety of Nicaraguan-grown long fillers, including Habano grown in the Jalapa region, Habano tobacco from the Ometepe island, and Ligero Habano out of Estelí. Together, these leaves produce a complex profile that is further accentuated by an Indonesian-grown Sumatran binder. 

The Nicaraguan Habano Oscuro wrapper, however, might as well have been made of pure milk chocolate. Through strong scents of leather, cedar, and dried fruits, you will find rich black pepper overtones and an earthy finish, with an end result that is medium-to-full bodied and extremely smooth.
