While it may have taken a hot tick or two for Blackbird Cigar Co. to come out with a dedicated blend within its core line with an habano wrapper, it did eventually happen. But not before the team blended and smoked countless concoctions and long-filler combinations.

According to Blackbird founder, Jonas Santana, the blend that is the Klaro Cigars COTM for the month of July this year, proved to be one of the most challenging cigars to date for the company to create. So needless to say, the release of the Blackbird Superb earlier this year was both highly appreciated and anticipated. 

Now that we've got plenty of this stogie in stock, it's time to spread the love, and that means letting our members get the first stab at this stick. And while we may not know exactly what the filler and binder are inside this cigar, we do know that its Ecuadorian habano wrapper looks, smells, and tastes really damn good! 

The result is a clean-burning, sharply constructed, snazzy-looking cigar that combusts slowly and steadily. This makes it an ideal summertime stogie for those who favor medium-strength and clean aftertastes over bolder, darker fermented depths.
