Días de Gloria Brazil celebrates the union of two exceptional worlds of tobacco. Honoring the rich roots of Brazil and the legacy of Nicaragua, AJ Fernandez captures the soul of traditional influences with this distinct and vibrant blend. While adorned with a Brazilian Mata Fina wrapper, AJ’s signature Nicaraguan binder and filler remains at the heart of this blend. In crafting this cigar, AJ Fernandez not only pays tribute to the glory days of tobacco but also will create new glory days for every connoisseur.

Although it is called a "sixty," this cigar that is technically classified as a gordo, and man is it densely packed! Slow burning and offering massive amounts of smoke from a fluid draw, this cigar may look big and tough, but it is more of a medium to medium-full experience. Altar Q is a celebration of Honduran tobaccos and is inspired by the prehistoric Mayan culture that dominated Honduras and Central America for centuries. 

This cigar's warm flavors include hints of hearty bread, cream, nuts, and exotic spices. A medium-strength, delicious smoke with a Honduran binder and filler grown near the ruins of the once vibrant Mayan civilization. Covered by a light-brown Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper, and cloaked in recycled tobacco leaf paper, each cigar in a box of Altar Q receives a unique print and is numbered to represent a dynasty of sixteen Mayan rulers from that era.

This cigar pays homage to the brand's patriarch Gilberto Oliva. With hearty notes of earth and spice throughout, this cigar is balanced beautifully to end with an elegant chocolatey finish. 

If you dare to take a swing at speaking a little German, try the word Rauchvergnügen on for size. Umlaut and all, this elongated word literally translates to "smoking pleasure," and is synonymous with the joy one takes in the act.

However, since much of the world cannot spell or pronounce this word, GEC has abbreviated this blend to RVGN to make it easy on the rest of us. The blend, relies upon an Ecuadorian-grown hybrid wrapper, which covers a Dominican criollo '98 binder, as well as a combo of Dominican, Nicaraguan and Pennsylvania long-fillers.

The result is a soft little short smoke with cold draws that reveal fresh hay, green fields, and a touch of mint. Once lit, aromas of cedar wood, alpine herbs, more mint, and moist forest reinforced with notes of peat, coffee, ginger, and Szechuan pepper can all be detected.

El Pulpo Octo Ocho is one of the most unique-looking cigars you’ll see. Three cigars with a 7" length and 38 gauge create this Culebra. The cigars are rolled normally, but while they are still moist they are twisted together to guarantee that, once the ribbons holding them together are taken out, each cigar will maintain its own shape. The cigars are designed to be smoked as regular cigars, one at a time, cut from the cap and lit from the foot, despite their twisted look.

Aromas from the wrappers are relatively faint in nature, but you can feel notes of earth, nuttiness, cinnamon, barnyard and generic sweetness. Currently rated at 90 points, this cigar is marvelously constructed. With a pigtail cap, this slender stick looks just as amazing as it tastes and smells. Isla del Cocodrilo is a popular nickname given to the island of Cuba because of its crocodile shape. Kyle Gellis – founder of Warped – was inspired by this fact to produce his latest gem: An all-Nicaraguan filled cigar that is covered by a double binder of Ecuadorian Habano 2000 and Brazilian Arapiraca descent, and then clad in an Ecuadorian Habano Deflorada wrapper. This is a medium to full-bodied stick with rich notes of cedar and earth and hints of spice and vanilla.

Aptly named because this tobacco comes from one lot of tobacco in Nicaragua ("Lot 23"). This cigar uses a Connecticut wrapper.

This 93-rated cigar was created with Cuban inspiration. The elegancia boasts full flavors of nutmet, buttery toast, sugar, cream, and the unmistakable San Cristobal pepper. This cigar produces billows of smoke with a tinge of sweetness.

The Caldwell Lost and Found "Just the Tip" cigar is made in the Dominican Republic at Tabacalera William Ventura factory. Rolled using a zesty Habano wrapper over a Sumatran binder and filled with a balanced mix of Dominican tobaccos, the result is a medium smoke with notes of oak, sun-grown leaf, cream, and graham cracker. 

Plasencia Alma del Campo is a complex smoke with a perfect balance delivering notes of coffee and nuts. This is a very creamy cigar with a touch of spice. The finish leaves a lasting impression on the palate.

That Colorado Rosado-colored wrapper you see slapped on the outside of this medium-strength stick is actually an Ecuador-grown habano leaf from the Oliva family. The blend consists of an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder, an Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper, and a filler made of tobacco from the Jalapa, Condega, and Estelí regions of Nicaragua along with some Dominican Corojo 99.

With roots in cigar history dating back to 1904, Lovely Cigars is a relatively recent boutique brand. They owe their name, which originated in Green Bay, Wisconsin, to a historic Wisconsin line known as Ain't They Lovely, which existed until the 1960s. Through contemporary mixes that honor the bygone era of the brand, they hope to relive previous days. This stick has one of the two blends offered by Lovely for the Bay City cigar, the Connecticut wrapper one.

Here's a bit of an aged rarity you don't see all that often: The original version of the Sancho Panza Extra Fuerte. While the new blend is very good, we prefer the silken glove palate puncher that is the vintage Extra Fuerte by Sancho Panza.

From first puff to its earthy end, this Honduran-heavy original version packs some seriously intense tastes, leading some to even consider it a pepper-bomb. However, look a bit deeper and you will find notes of cherry and toasted walnuts peeping through the smoke, along with drizzles of molasses, black tea leaves, and a touch of cedar and mulled wine spice. An obscure gem for anyone in search of something box-pressed with a bit of additional age. 

The ADN Dominicano contains a very special kind of Dominican tobacco. Commonly known as andullo (an-doo-yaw), this process takes tobacco and places it inside palm tree pods, at which point it is bound and then pressed until a paste-like pile of leaves comes out months later. Extremely rare, and ultra labor intensive, this unique cigar making style originated in the Dominican Republic, and is known for adding strength, aroma, and sweetness to a well-balanced cigar blend.

In this case, the result is a spicy, woody cigar that melds pleasantly with hints of sweetness that segue into a graham cracker finish. This smoke is one hell of a great burner too, with a flawless draw producing columns of smoke. 

Caldwell’s The T stands for “The Truth” and is the result of an awesome collaboration of Matt Booth from Room 101, Robert Caldwell from Caldwell Cigar Co., and Abdel Fernandez from AJ Fernandez Cigar Company.

With leaf from AJ Fernandez's well-known Nicaraguan farms and a dark Maduro wrapper covering the bold binder, this box-pressed blend boasts a robust, rich, medium-to-full-bodied flavor profile.

The state bird of Arizona was the inspiration to name this cigar. The Cactus Wren features a blend of Corojo, Criollo 98, and Olor fillers, a Mexican San Andres wrapper, and a Cuban seed Dominican binder. This combination produces a smooth and gratifying smoke with rich earthy, spicy, and sweet notes that will make you want to enjoy it more than once. 

The Alec Bradley brand revisits the post-embargo concept from a fresh perspective with this outstanding smoke.

The medium-bodied, polished, and complex Post Embargo Blend Code B15 celebrates how Alec Bradley has taken its rightful place on the global stage. The most recent addition to the series has a dual binder with Corojo leaves from Jamastran and Criollo from Trojes, as well as a Honduran Criollo wrapper from the Trojes region. Its filler combines Honduran Jamastran Corojo, Trojes Criollo, and Nicaraguan Criollo from Jalapa. This new combination gives the cigar a new look, with bands that embrace a Modernist color scheme and style.

Just like the debut release, Ain't They Lovely, the No. 162 cigar is a tribute to Green Bay and its cigar heritage and the union that represented the cigar rollers in Green Bay, Local 162. The cigar is constructed using fillers from Nicaragua and a Sumatran binder layered over an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper, with aromas of honey and vanilla.

Blackbird's Glitch cigars were unintentionally produced as a consequence of an oversight in production when tobacco batches were jumbled up during the rolling process. The blenders, however, soon ceased complaining after tasting the results and set to work duplicating this "happy accident."

The Blackbird Glitch Claro offers a rich and flavorful smoke. It is made up of American and Dominican filler leaves tucked inside a Dominican binder and coated in an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper leaf. This Glitch, which has a medium body and a flush of flavor, can end up becoming your favorite error, so get yours right away. 

In 2018, master blender Willy Herrera created the outstanding Herrera Estelí line of cigars for Drew Estate, one of which includes the Herrera Estelí Brazilian Maduro. Strong and rich, this cigar has distinct notes of citrus, coffee, cocoa, and pepper. Packing an all-Nicaraguan filler, a Connecticut Broadleaf binder, and an oily Brazilian Mata Fina wrapper, this robust stogie packs plenty of powerful flavors to appease even the most hardcore cigar smoker's palate. 

The smoothest maduro blend available is this Bianco III. From beginning to end, this filler mix adds notes of cocoa, earthiness, and smoothness. These cigars have a Mexican San Andres maduro wrapper, which plays a crucial role without being too overpowering. The flavors of the binder and filler are perfectly balanced by this Mexican wrapper, giving the finish a silky smoothness. This cigar has a Dominican binder. Fratello Bianco cigars have a highly complex nose due to the aroma produced by the mixture of the binder and wrapper.

The Finch is a delightful mild smoke with smooth overtones of white pepper, coffee, and light spice that was created by renowned blender Jonas Santana.

La Aurora 107 Nicaragua blends its Nicaraguan tobaccos masterfully to provide a medium-to-full-bodied experience that emanates perfection. It is noticeably darker than the previous 107 editions. Awarded #1 as the "Top Boutique Cigar of 2024" over at Enthusiast Report, Tres Compadres is a very special cigar that has been crafted to celebrate the camaraderie found between friends. Sourced from the finest tobaccos in Nicaragua, the top-tier selection of leaf used to create this cigar forms a rich, complex experience accented by notes of sweet cedar, toasted almond, mild baking spice, and a creamy finish. Unlike other Nicaraguan puro cigars that are full and spicy, Tres Compadres is milder in strength and medium-bodied, but still loaded with tons of flavor.

Note: Tres Compadres is a special tribute cigar meant to honor three men. Kristoff Cigars' founder, Glen Case, and two of his best friends, both of whom have passed away in recent years. One of these is Rolando Villamil, a close friend and one of Case's greatest cigar mentors. The other is Chuck Finch, a dear friend Case knew since high school who unexpectedly died just a few months prior to Villamil. Initials of all three men emblazon the upper band of the cigar in gold lettering.

This oily Connecticut Broadleaf maduro mellows out the more complex Nicaraguan Habano binder and all Nicaraguan filler, lending itself to a very enjoyable medium-strength smoke. One could expect to taste notes of toasted oak, loamy earthiness, dried nuts, baking spice, and cedar throughout.

For the binder they selected an Indonesian leaf which adds a touch of sweetness, with a filler blend that balances flavor and strength.

Tasting notes: hints of hay and aged hardwood, dried cranberries, and finishes with cracked pepper and notes of sweet Dominican rum.

Piece Unique from Gellis Family Cigars takes its name from the world of Horological references. When famed watch making houses produce a special 1 of 1 piece, it is often referred to as a “Piece Unique”.

Each release of Piece Unique from Gellis Family Cigars will utilize the same methodology, only crafting the interior blend one time. Each bale of tobacco utilized within Piece Unique was hand sourced by Kyle Gellis. From the Grade 1 Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade Wrapper from ASP and marked as Bale #3BW, to each bale of fillers from Nicaragua and Dominican Republic.

The process to complete Piece Unique has been a long one, from start of the process to final ending was a 2 year period to source these tobaccos and get the blend to define the vision that was set for it.

Packaged in piano finished boxes of lined with Spanish Cedar of 15 cigars, only 500 boxes of this blend were crafted, all of which were aged for a full year in Spanish Cedar after rolling.
