Wrapped in a stunning Rosado Oscuro wrapper from San Andrés, Mexico, and loaded with Cuban seed long-filler, La Opulencia is touted as being a cross between the original My Father line and Le Bijou. What this creates is a 95-rated hybrid blend that capitalizes upon an extravagant mixture of dark and red tobacco strains. This bouquet produces an interesting palate of complex flavors and aromatics, with the most prominent notes being that of oak, nougat, milk chocolate, star anise, and that spicy winning combination of Criollo and Corojo '99 leaf.

Currently rated at 90 points, this cigar is marvelously constructed. With a pigtail cap, this slender stick looks just as amazing as it tastes and smells.
