New Cigar Bundle Release: Introducing the 2026 Spring Stogie Sample Pack

For us cigar smokers, spring brings with it a special sense of awakening, as we are gifted with the ability to smoke outdoors without the fear of freezing to death, or worse yet, hearing the sound of the wrapper on a cigar splitting open due to dry, wintry air.

This profound feeling of joy over the return of what many consider to be the best season for outdoor smoking is only rivaled by a single event: The return of the Klaro Spring Stogie Sample Pack.

Released in limited quantities for just a short period of time every spring, this stogie six-pack comes loaded with a variety of blends that are intended to get you in the mood for smoking outside once again. For 2026, we decided to throw a handful of newer smokes into this special cigar bundle, along with a couple of classic blends that you may have overlooked or forgotten about. All six of these sticks come smoked, reviewed, and Klaro-approved, and are currently available in both 5-pack bundle and box format in the Klaro Collection, just in case you want to stock up.

But before we get around to discussing what makes each of the following six blends ideal for spring smoking, we must mention that none of these cigars are what one might consider to be a "strong smoke." They may be full-flavored, and perhaps a touch potent when it comes to nicotine at times, but none of them are complete pepper-bombs or full-force when it comes to body.

So check out the blends below to see if the 2026 version of the Klaro Spring Stogie Sample Pack is right for your smoking needs, and note that clicking on each cigar name will take you directly to the official Klaro Cigars review of said smoke. Chances are that there will be a blend in the bundle that you are unfamiliar with, so having some honest reviews you can turn to will hopefully help in the decision-making process. Either way, we feel that this year's spring six-pack is one of the best bundles yet, so snag up a sixer and something to sip, step outside, and let's spark some stogies!

2026 Spring Stogie Sample Pack

Aladino Camp Aladino Cameroon Gorbusto

Camp Aladino Cameroon Gorbusto

A newer addition to the Klaro Collection, this 100% Eiroa-farmed Honduran puro features a stubby 4½″ x 60 configuration and packs a metric ton of smoke into each puff. As this Aladino blend burns, the taste of the tobacco becomes creamier up front, and mild mineral notes mix with a fantastic floral honey attribute inside. Buttery as can be, cigar flavor profiles gradually become more dessert-like the closer you get to the final third with this one.

There, you will find a delightful mixture of medium-strength cinnamon, raw sugar cane, cedar, honey, heavy cream, and the toasty taste of flaky pastry dough browning in the oven. Aromatics from this cigar really turn up the tempo, too, with absolutely divine scents filling the nostrils and the air around you.

Kristoff Cigars Tres Compadres

Kristoff Cigars Tres Compadres

Nicaraguan puro in build, but rolled down in the Dominican, this blend from Kristoff Cigars is one of the best new offerings that the boutique brand has rolled out in regular production form. But unlike the far stronger and heavier maduro just mentioned, this habano smoke favors flavors and strength levels that are much more mild-mannered than menacing.

Top tasting notes include light leather that is almost on the suede side of the tanning spectrum, followed by buttered rum with a touch of salted toffee. Vanilla and citrus are also present, as is a bold nuttiness and some cinnamon, followed by pastry dough, dried tropical fruits, toasted pistachios, and brown sugar. When combined, this makes for a marvelous smoking experience, earning this blend an award for being the "Best Boutique Cigar of 2024" over at Enthusiast Report.

Artesano del Tobacco Viva la Vida Connecticut

Artesano del Tobacco Viva la Vida Connecticut

Easily the spiciest smoke in the bundle, the newest smoke from Artesano del Tobacco opens with biscuit dough baking in the oven, with butter and honey ready to be spread on top. Vanilla and cream may come and go as you smoke, but it is within that spicier, slightly darker medium-bodied smoke that a cedar-rich finish resides. Retrohales are creamy as can be and quite smooth, with there not being nearly as much of a spicy peppercorn intensity on the tongue as there is in the air.

There, you may discover potting soil and leather entering the mix, along with candied ginger and some mid-grade nicotine. Tangy and grassy at times, with a creamy, milky mixture continuously flowing beneath, the Connecticut shade side of this cigar holds true throughout and makes for a mighty good medium-powered smoke session.

Raices Cubanas Clásico

Raices Cubanas Clásico

Nuttiness and the creamy, tannin-rich tastes associated with tree nuts are both top performers in this banger of a Honduran puro blend from Raices Cubanas. From a balanced delivery of cinnamon and the sweet flavors of honey and caramel, followed by just enough soil to smooth over any sharpness with a little bit of ground cover, this smoke delivers. The floral notes on the nose, and then later upon the tongue, are also fantastic, and the construction and combustion at every turn are top-notch. Just note that this is a cigar that prefers smooth lateral moves over sudden vertical shifts.

It's a stogie that is mild enough to keep fans of lighter-bodied, low-strength cigars in their safe zone, while still producing enough depth to keep stronger cigar smokers smiling. This smoke is also surprisingly affordable, making it a great option for those looking for a lighter "yard cigar" or a quick breakfast blend.

Artista Cigars HOF by David Ortiz

Artista Cigars HOF by David Ortiz

Artista Cigars continues to crank out one homer after another, with this collaborative cigar project with David Ortiz being one of their best. With controlled amounts of exotic Sumatran tobacco spices sitting alongside some black pepper, things start off a bit intense but quickly mellow out. Freshly oiled baseball glove leather is also prominent on the tongue, while retrohales favor sweetened chai tea with milk, candied dates, and dark fruits sitting alongside staves of cedar.

This is one of those cigars that has a finish that gradually grows longer and stronger as you go, which also boosts body, strength, and flavor along the way. Bags of salty and sweet roasted nuts, along with a little bit of Indonesian farmhouse funk and hints of hickory, followed by malted milk and creamy cocoa, close out the final inning in grand fashion. Together, this creates a special smoking experience for anyone looking for a bit of a curveball.

La Aurora ADN Dominicano

La Aurora ADN Dominicano

Easily one of the best and most slept-on cigars ever produced by La Aurora, the ADN Domincano is an exercise in blending old-world tradition with new-world flavor. By utilizing Dominican-grown tobacco leaf that has been aged and fermented inside palm tree pods, a process called andullo (an-doo-yaw), La Aurora has found a way to pack even more flavor and complexity into a single cigar, all without compromising any smoothness or sense of clarity.

Flavor-wise, one can expect split cedar staves and exotic herb teas, along with a mixture of almond milk and bittersweet cocoa powder, followed by a flurry of fermented hay and dried wild grasses. Retrohales are spicy and musty, leaving behind a finish that is full-flavored, with no heat or intensity to be detected. Pipe tobacco and fire-cured American tobacco leaf tastes are also top-notch, and come trailed by spiced cola, chicory root, wood tannins, and a floral finish that keeps on giving. Creamy cashews, mineral salts, and a little oil also manage to keep things meaty, as ribbons of honey hit the jackpot one pull after another. Altogether, a very unique cigar that offers a fantastic array of aromas and flavors at every turn.
