Sam Paley was the founder of La Palina back in 1896. In order to honor the role of women in the cigar industry through the name of his wife, Goldie, the La Palina Goldie collection was introduced in 2012. This one of a kind cigar is blended with the renowned Medio Tiempo leaf, whih is found in just 10% of tobacco plants. The filler comes from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic, and the wrapper is Ecuadorian Habano. All in all, the smoke is peppery and nutty with a finish of wood, cocoa, and walnut.
