With roots in cigar history dating back to 1904, Lovely Cigars is a relatively recent boutique brand. They owe their name, which originated in Green Bay, Wisconsin, to a historic Wisconsin line known as "Ain't They Lovely," which existed until the 1960s. Through contemporary mixes that honor the bygone era of the brand, they hope to relive previous days. This stick has one of two blends offered by Lovely for the Bay City line, with this being the Mexican maduro wrapper version.
For today's review, we turn toward a Mexican maduro mixed with Sumatran and Nicaraguan leaf, thus making it the darkest blend in the Lovely Cigars lineup.
