If you dare to take a swing at speaking a little German, try the word Rauchvergnügen on for size. Umlaut and all, this elongated word literally translates to "smoking pleasure," and is synonymous with the joy one takes in the act.
However, since much of the world cannot spell or pronounce this word, GEC has abbreviated this blend to RVGN #21 to make it easy on the rest of us. Structurally, the smallest version comes in a 5 x 38 corona panatela format, complete with a pigtail cap and all. As for the blend, that relies upon an Ecuadorian-grown hybrid wrapper, which covers a Dominican criollo '98 binder, as well as a combo of Dominican, Nicaraguan and Pennsylvania long-fillers.
The result is a soft little short smoke with cold draws that reveal fresh hay, green fields, and a touch of mint. Once lit, aromas of cedar wood, alpine herbs, more mint, and moist forest reinforced with notes of peat, coffee, ginger, and Szechuan pepper can all be detected.
