The Foundation Olmec Maduro Robusto is a rich, full-bodied cigar inspired by the ancient Olmec civilization of Mesoamerica. Crafted at A.J. Fernandez's factory in Nicaragua, it features a dark Mexican San Andrés Maduro wrapper grown in the same region associated with the Olmecs, surrounding Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos from Jalapa and Estelí. The blend delivers a powerful yet well-balanced profile with layers of cacao, dark espresso, earth, leather, pepper, and spice.
The 5" × 50 Robusto concentrates the blend's deep, savory character into a satisfying format. The wrapper undergoes extended aging and low-temperature fermentation, helping develop its rich oils and complexity. Expect thick smoke, pronounced mouthfeel, and evolving notes of dark chocolate, coffee, wood, leather, and pepper, making the Olmec Maduro an excellent choice for experienced smokers who enjoy bold, full-flavored Nicaraguan cigars.
