The slightly smaller ring size of this cigar makes it very easy to travel. I smoked my first one during a walk on my lunch hour and it was delightful. The strength is appropriately given as medium, and the nicotine seems to be accordingly stronger than one might expect from a mild cigar - you get a little buzz afterwards, but I'm a nicotine lightweight.
The first third was polite with cedar and cocoa notes. It burned well, and the ash was well-behaved but easily lost with a flick. If I had let it burn all the way I've no doubt that it would have fallen at some point, but it wasn't a problem. It stayed lit even as I let it rest for a while on a cafe table while purchasing an Armenian coffee which turned out to be a perfect accompaniment. The second third brought a deeper, leathery flavor, but the smoke was not dense. More peppery than the first third, the cigar really came into its own now. Unfortunately, I was called back to work before I could finish the final third, but it was well worth the price even without finishing it completely. I'm looking forward to keeping a few of these on hand.
