One of the two cigars La Palina produces at the Esteli, Nicaragua-based AJ Fernandez Cigars facility is the La Palina Nicaragua Connecticut. This is the first collaboration between AJ Fernandez, a world-class blender, and Bill Paley of La Palina cigars.

The filler and binder tobaccos of this stick are grown in Nicaragua, yet the smoke is wrapped in an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade leaf. Notes of earth, pepper, and roasted nuts can be found in this light to medium-bodied smoke.
