6 Insanely Tasty Autumn Smokes: Introducing the "Klaro Fall Cigar Bundle 2024 Edition"

With autumn cigar smoking season in full swing, now is prime time for sitting outside and enjoying a stick or two with family and friends. Since many of us here at Klaro tend to be avid outdoor cigar smokers, creating our own seasonal cigar bundles is something we take great joy in creating every three months or so. This leads us to the following six sticks, all of which are autumn-oriented blends in one form or another.

Like in years past, the Klaro Fall Cigar Bundle 2024 Edition comes filled with a variety of blends intended for sampling and sharing. Dark, light, spiced, nutty, smoky, cedary, hay heavy, and tannin-rich, each blend brings something special to the harvest table. So prepare to settle in, spark a stogie, and sip some of the good stuff while seated around the campfire with your besties, because this is one sixer you won't want to miss.

Dapper El Borracho San Andrés

Dapper El Borracho San Andrés

[Buy 5-Pack]

Blended up by Dapper Cigar Co. founder, Ian Reith, this rich Mexican San Andrés cloaked smoke is one of the newer offerings within the Klaro portfolio and is easily one of its best. As the story goes, Reith crafted this blend purely for his own personal smoking pleasure, as it was intended to help him ween himself off a financially crippling infatuation with the spectacular, but rather pricy Padrón 1964 Anniversary Series.

Box-pressed and blooming with brilliance, this blend bounces back and forth between bright spiced cedar and citrus notes and is that big, bold, maduro mocha bomb that dark cigar smokers salivate over. Oh, and for those of you who aren't up to snuff on your Spanish, El Borracho means "The Drunkard." But perhaps that's a backstory that's best saved for another time...

Artesano del Tobacco Viva la Vida

Artesano del Tobacco Viva la Vida

[Buy 5-Pack]

This Nicaraguan puro is a tropical mixed bag filled with fruits, exotic sugars, and familiar baking spices. Caramel and clove, orange peel and cardamom pods, cinnamon and pie crust, dark soil, and plenty of pepper make this lively smoke a rocket ship of a Habano Oscuro-wrapped stogie. This intensity and complexity is brought to you in part by a Corojo binder and Criollo '98 long-filler, all of which come courtesy of none other than AJ Fernandez. Jake Wyatt Icarus

Jake Wyatt Icarus

[Buy 5-Pack]

This lightly fermented maduro from Jake Wyatt Cigar Co. may look unassuming, but inside you will find a robust mixture of Tennessee Fire Cured, Criollo '98, Piloto Cubano, and Pennsylvania Broadleaf long-filler tobaccos. There's also a rather rare Dominican Olor binder keeping all that internal leaf in place, which when mixed with everything else makes for a smoking experience brimming with earth, spice, leather, cedar, molasses, and a touch of mesquite smokiness.

EP Carrillo Encore

EP Carrillo Encore

[Buy 5-Pack]

Featuring Nicaraguan tobacco that has been aged for at least two years in handmade palm bark boxes called "tercios," Encore from EP Carrillo forms one of the most refined, nutty, and sweetly nuanced smoking experiences you will ever encounter. Almonds and candied orange peel sit alongside a deep cedar and oak finish, allowing Encore to remain well within the boundaries of medium from beginning to end. This balance helped earn this smoke a 96-point rating at Cigar Aficionado and the privilege of being labeled the #1 Cigar of 2018. For more on this beautiful little box-pressed gem see the official Klaro review of EPC's Encore.

Oscar Valladares The Oscar Connecticut

Oscar Valladares The Oscar Connecticut

[Buy 5-Pack]

As a relatively new line from Oscar Valladares, this blend takes long-fillers from Honduras and Nicaragua, along with a Honduran binder, and then tops them with a rarity in this industry: A Connecticut wrapper that is also grown down in Honduras. With notes of cedar, tree nuts, and traces of spice and vanilla on the tail end, you can anticipate a cool-burning, mellow experience with this medium stick. During our review of The Oscar Connecticut hints of tangy lemon meringue, fresh cut grass, hay, and a whole bunch of honey were also detected at various points. This is definitely not your typical Connecticut Shade cigar!

Lovely Cigars Bay City Connecticut

Lovely Cigars Bay City Connecticut

[Buy 5-Pack]

Utilizing the old nickname for the city of Green Bay, Wisconsin, this Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade shrouded blend brings out all the best moments that fans of lighter smokes love. But with an all-Nicaraguan long-filler center and a Sumatran binder placed just above the bunch, there's quite a bit more going for this smoke than one might expect. Spiced but never spicy, and extremely rich in its complexity, the cigar flavor profile of this new offering from Lovely Cigars is sure to please fans of light and vibrant stogies alike.
