3 Minute Deep Dive: The Natural Cigar Explained

By fault, all premium long-filler cigars should consist of all-natural products, with tobacco being the primary component.

However, there is some confusion over the actual word "natural," for it also refers to a style of cigar wrapper.

But whereas many falsely believe that natural cigars are always light in color, that only applies to a certain portion of the market. In fact, natural cigars are rolled in a vast array of shapes, colors, strengths, and flavors.

So let's make one thing abundantly clear...

Natural cigars are essentially anything lighter in color

than a heavily fermented maduro.

Yep. You read that right. Every style of cigar that isn't classified as a maduro falls into the natural category, regardless of how strong or mild it might be.

May it be a silky Connecticut shade-grown, a well rounded habano, a peppery corojo, or even a classic criollo, it's all-natural baby!

That being said, there's probably something for everyone within the list of natural cigars below. So smoke around and try a few different premium cigar blends that appear a tad darker than what you are used to imagining in a natural. You never know what pleasant surprises await...
