United StatesI can admit that I smoke with my eyes and when I see a dark cigar like this, I get a little hesitant. But after smoking this cigar, took me by surprise of how much I loved the way it hit my pallet very well. I loved this cigar and enjoyed every last bit of it.
United StatesUpon first light it has a mild black pepper taste. After about the first inch I got a cocoa taste although the tasting notes say espresso. I can see that. It pretty much stayed that way until the final 3rd where the pepper was re-introduced. It is not a complex stick. A nice flavor but not a lot of variety of flavors. My issue was burn. I think it might have been a little to humid in my humidor as it is around 70. Needed several touch ups. When it was burning tons of smoke which I like but burned uneven for first half. 2nd half was better. Would have again.
