A fantastic find from an extremely obscure boutique brand, the rich, the L'Anniversarie Maduro is the dark cousin to Foyle's Classic "Meteor Hammer." It's a medium-bodied Connecticut broadleaf maduro smoke that comes box-pressed filled with scoops of earthy expresso. To help impart a silky smooth finish, the wrapper on this stick is fermented under intense heat for 90 days until it releases its full potential. The result is a rich, dark wrapper that burns evenly with a razor-thin carbon ring. This uniquely forged wrapper dresses an Ecuadorian binder and a Nicaraguan/Dominican blend that forms an opulent mouthfeel and finish.

A special blend of Honduran and Panamanian fillers come loaded inside an Ecuadorian Sumatran binder, which is enclosed in a candela and oscuro barber pole wrapper. The entire purpose of this unique collaboration was to create the Short Run 2023, which is made in Oscar's Honduran facility using an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, a Honduran binder, and Nicaraguan and Honduran fillers, some of which came from Copan. The Short Run 2023 is incredibly distinctive and just over medium in body. It features notes of saltiness, different nuts, baking spices, and an undertone of earth. These won't be available forever! Get yours before the blend changes once again next year!

Only the best Nicaraguan and Honduran ligero filler was used to create the flawlessly constructed Comfortably Numb Vol. 2 by Espinosa Cigars. It features tastes of toast, red pepper, and cedar, and comes wrapped in a Corojo '99 ligero wrapper that is supposedly maduro-grade.
