Tasting Notes:

The H. Upmann Banker Currency is a recreation of a blend originally made in Cuba in 1844, and this recreation does justice to the original. Initial pre-light flavors range from anise to leather to chocolate. The first third continues the chocolate notes, black and red pepper, and a multitude of tannin notes. The cigar continues with flavors of nuttiness, coffee, and anise through the end with a nice balance of sweet and savory.
